One thing I can safely say is that we LOVE coffee. Coffee in the morning wakes us up, and our midday brew fuels us throughout the day. So, when I write these recommendations, you can rest assured that the coffee is tried, tested, and most importantly – TASTY!

Get a well made coffee or speciality tea, alongside their delicious fully loaded waffles (come hungry with a friend – they’re big enough to share!) or vegan cakes. You can also order from the restaurant and juice bar on site, and divulge in food all day long!

Both spots have beautiful boutiques, and there is often live music, as well as art, so there’s plenty to keep you entertained! Alternatively, you can see their menu at eco village and jungle paradise Mojigao.

Originally in Ashwem, this successful cafe has crossed the bridge and now resides in Anjuna too. Ashwem, by the ocean, and Anjuna, nestled amongst fields, both have got beautiful views, and serve up great food, great coffee and great cocktails! Prana in Ashwem has a farmers market worth looking out for every Thursday, and Anjuna hold brilliant events on Saturday nights. These guys do great work for sustainability, charity and artists and are totally worth your support!

A great option for vegans and gluten free folk (oat milk latte, YES PLEASE!) as they have a great selection of free-from items. Be sure to try their namesake – Babka, you won’t regret it! Laze in the AC, sip on coffee, and indulge in cakes, and then bring home some of their own roast coffee, and homemade oat milk to recreate the good stuff at home!
